VETERINARIAN

Education: Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine

Since 2014, Doctor Beth Stangohr has been building relationships with Sioux Nation Pet Clinic clients and their pets. Upon completing her degree at Iowa State University, she came to Sioux Nation where she takes special interest in dermatology, surgery, and preventative care. Doctor Beth particularly enjoys making a difference in the lives of animals and their people, and she likes having the opportunity for lifelong learning in this field.

When she is not working, Doctor Beth and her veterinarian husband Chuck are raising their children Beau and Lilah in a household with cats Mel (Persian) and Trapper (tri-pod outdoor cat), and dog Peach (Great Pyranees). In her spare time, she enjoys photography, kayaking, travel, puzzles, and anything artistic. One fun fact about Doctor Beth is that she once extracted a canine tooth on a lion.
